Forever Stamps 2025 Winter Scenes – Seasonal Celebration, First-Class Postage

Winter is not only a season but also a state of mind. In the United States, winter begins at the winter solstice, the day of the year with the shortest period of daylight, usually Dec. 21 or Dec. 22. But in some parts of the country, snow begins falling and temperatures plummet long before the solstice. Whatever the inclination — indoors or out — winter offers something for everyone. These beautiful stamps will add brightness, color, and a bit of that winter joy to cards and letters throughout the year.

One stamp features two brilliant red barns that strikingly contrast with the surrounding snow, sky and trees. The landscapes in two other stamps focus on the beauty of freshly fallen snow: One shows a long fence bounded by tall trees laden with snow-covered branches, and the other features willowy evergreens shrouded in snow, highlighted against a cloudy sky and far-off hill. A fourth stamp shows a mass of icicles suspended against a fiery sunset and a backdrop of frozen waves, while the final stamp depicts a house surrounded by frosty pines set against a deep pastel sky.

Each stamp has the words “FOREVER/USA” vertically on either the right or left side. The booklet, which includes four of each of the five designs, features an expanded view of the photograph of the house, with the title, Winter Landscapes, in white type at the top of the image.
